Treatment

Our treatments in detail

The right technique for your hair loss.

The doctor chooses the technique according to the size of the area to cover, the density of your donor area and the desired result.

01

The most common

Sapphire FUE transplant

The grafts are taken one by one from the back of the head, then implanted in micro-incisions made with a sapphire blade. Fine incisions promote fast healing and dense implantation.

Ideal for: Extensive baldness, need for a large number of grafts.

Individual extraction, no linear scar

Sapphire blades for finer incisions

Suited to large areas

Shaving of the recipient area usually required

Stay

3 days

Anaesthesia

02

Precision and density

DHI transplant (Choi pen)

The grafts are implanted directly with an implanter pen (Choi), with no prior incision. This method allows precise control of the angle and direction of each hair.

Ideal for: Densify an area, hairline, patients who do not want to shave their whole head.

Direct implantation, no prior channels

Precise control of angle and direction

Possible without shaving the recipient area (case by case)

Ideal for the hairline and densification

Stay

3 days

03

Face

Beard and moustache transplant

Follicles taken from the back of the head are implanted in sparse areas of the beard or moustache, following the natural direction of the hair.

Ideal for: Patchy beard, empty areas, scars in the beard.

A very fine, hair-by-hair transplant to reshape or densify the eyebrows after over-plucking, a scar or natural loss.

Ideal for: Thin, asymmetrical or missing eyebrows.

Shape designed before the procedure

A lasting alternative to permanent make-up

Women

Hair transplant for women

A specific approach for women: densifying the parting, high hairline, thinning areas. DHI without shaving often allows a very discreet procedure.

Ideal for: Widening parting, high forehead, localised thinning.

Prior check of the causes of hair loss

DHI without shaving possible in some cases

Lowering of the hairline

Discreet procedure, quick return to normal

Add-on

PRP and mesotherapy

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP), obtained from your own blood, is injected into the scalp. It is often offered as a complement to a transplant to support regrowth.

Ideal for: As a complement to a transplant, or early mild hair loss.

Blood sample and centrifugation

Injection into the scalp

Quick session, no hospital stay

Often included after the transplant [TO BE CONFIRMED]

After the procedure

Your results, month by month.

Regrowth is gradual. Knowing what to expect avoids needless worry.

Day 1 to Day 10

Healing

Small scabs on the grafted area, which fall off with washing.

2 to 8 weeks

Temporary shedding

The transplanted hairs fall out: this is normal (“shock loss”), the root stays in place.

3 to 4 months

Regrowth begins

The new hairs start to grow, still fine.

6 months

Visible result

About half of the result is visible, the hair thickens.

9 to 12 months

Density

Most of the hair has grown back and is getting thicker.

12 to 18 months

Final result

Final result, especially on the crown.

Questions about hair transplants

How many grafts will I need?

It depends on the extent of hair loss and the density of your donor area. Send us photos (front, top, back, sides): the doctor will give you a free estimate.

Is the procedure painful?

It is done under local anaesthesia. Only the anaesthetic injections are felt at the start; after that the procedure is usually well tolerated. Painkillers are provided for the following days.

When can I go back to work?

For office work, most patients go back after a few days, once redness and scabs are discreet. Intense sport should be avoided for about a month.

Why do my transplanted hairs fall out after a few weeks?

It is a normal stage called “shock loss”. The hair shaft falls out but the root stays in place and produces a new hair from the 3rd or 4th month.

Am I a good candidate?

You need a sufficient donor area at the back of the head and stabilised hair loss. The doctor assesses your case from photos, then during the consultation.

Is the result permanent?

Hair taken from the back of the head is generally resistant to hair loss, so it stays in place. Original, non-transplanted hair may continue to fall out: a maintenance treatment may be advised.
