Questions about dental care
Does it hurt?
Treatment is carried out under local anaesthesia: you feel no pain during the procedure. Some sensitivity or discomfort may appear in the following days; painkillers are prescribed if needed.
Why do implants need two trips?
After placement, the implant has to fuse with the bone (osseointegration), which usually takes 3 to 6 months. You go home with temporary teeth, then come back for your final teeth.
How can I get a quote before coming?
Send us a recent panoramic X-ray, or failing that photos of your teeth. The dentist makes a first estimate, confirmed after the exam on site.
Will my teeth be filed down for veneers?
More or less preparation is needed depending on the type of veneer and the condition of your teeth. The dentist explains exactly what will be done before starting.
Is there a guarantee?
